It works for many animal species including mice, insects (Drosophila, ants) and fish (zebrafish, medaka, stickleback).

This page presents the original version of idTracker. While this version is still functional and useful for many cases, you can find a new version at idtracker.ai with substantial improvements (specially for videos with >10 individuals).
